Privacy Policy
Snow Depths does not ask for an account, name, email, phone number or location. The limited technical and usage data that arises while you use the app is processed by the third-party services described below (Google Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob and our hosting provider).
Who we are
Snow Depths is published by Liogu Apps, the data controller for this policy. Contact: admin@liogu.com.
What we do and do not collect
- There is no account, sign-in or registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or similar identity details.
- The app does not request location permission and does not use your location. It does not access your contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- We do not create personal profiles of you and we do not sell data.
Third-party services we use
Analytics: Google Firebase Analytics
To understand and improve how the app is used we use Google Firebase Analytics. The app sends events such as: screen views, the snow depth list loading or failing to load, a resort or hotel being opened, and ad interactions (an ad loading, failing to load or being tapped), with parameters like the screen name, the resort key (for example "uludag") and the ad placement.
Firebase also automatically collects some device and app level information: an app instance ID, device model, operating system and app version, language, first-open and session information, and an approximate location (country/city level) derived from the IP address. This data is processed by Google and kept according to Google's retention settings.
Advertising: Google AdMob and our own ads
The app is free and shows ads. Google AdMob may process device identifiers (for example the advertising ID), the IP address and general device information to serve ads. We request non-personalized ads only, so ads are not based on a personal profile. In some places we may show ads of businesses we deal with directly; these come from our server and their taps are measured with the analytics above.
Server and hosting
The app loads snow depth, resort, hotel and ad information from our server, which is hosted on Microsoft Azure. As with any internet request, your IP address and the time of the request are visible to the server, and the hosting provider may keep them in standard technical logs. We do not use these logs to identify you.
Source of the snow data
Snow depth information is based on data published by the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM). Our server retrieves it; it contains no personal data.
External links
Some links in the app (travel agency price pages, hotel websites, phone and email links, live camera streams) leave the app and open in your browser or another app. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Under the services described above, data is processed by Google (Firebase Analytics and AdMob) and Microsoft (hosting). These companies may process data outside Turkey.
Children
The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your choices and rights
- Advertising ID: in your device settings you can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising ID (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings > Google > Ads).
- Deletion: uninstalling the app removes everything on your device. There is no account, so we hold no account data to delete.
- Data-protection rights: if you are in Turkey (Law No. 6698, KVKK), the EU/EEA or the UK, you can exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion, objection, …) by writing to admin@liogu.com.
This website
This website is static. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (for example IP address and time of request).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with a new date.
