Privacy Policy
Short version: JSON Beautifier collects nothing. Your JSON stays on your Mac.
JSON Beautifier ("the app") is a macOS menu bar app by Liogu Apps that formats, repairs and displays JSON. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information or usage data. The app has no account, no login and no registration.
The JSON you paste or type is processed only on your Mac, in the app's memory. The app does not save it to disk and does not send it anywhere.
2. Network access
The app works completely offline and makes no network connections. It contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking SDKs, and it runs in the macOS App Sandbox.
3. Clipboard
The app reads the clipboard only when you press Paste, and writes to it only when you press Copy or choose a copy action from a node's right-click menu.
4. Data sharing
Because we collect nothing, we have nothing to sell or share with third parties.
5. Children's privacy
The app collects no information from anyone, including children.
6. App Store
The app is distributed through Apple's Mac App Store. Apple may collect information about downloads and purchases under its own privacy policy; we do not receive personal information about you from Apple.
7. This website
This website is static. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party trackers. Like any web server, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (for example IP address and time of request); we do not use them to identify visitors.
8. Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and its effective date.
